Service

Warehouse and dbt build.

Four to eight weeks. Set up right the first time, or untangled after someone else left.

Who it's for

You're setting up analytics for the first time, or you inherited a warehouse and dbt project that has gotten hard to trust. Either way, you want a metric defined once, dashboards people actually open, and enough documentation that the next person can find their footing.

What you get

  • Data pulled into one warehouse. Fivetran, GA4, ad platforms, and custom API work when the connector does not exist.
  • A transformation layer in dbt so a metric is defined once and stays that way.
  • Dashboards people actually open, instead of exporting to Excel.
  • Tests, docs, and a handoff runbook so your team can keep it running after I leave.

How it runs

Four to eight weeks depending on how many sources you have and how far gone the existing layer is. Everything lands as pull requests against your analytics repo, with the writeups to match. Weekly check-in call, async in between.

Works on BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks. dbt Core or dbt Cloud. If you don't have a warehouse yet, I'll help you pick one before we start.

Recent work

4 hrssaved per week on data calls

A regional bank's marketing team was losing half a day every week reconciling partner data. After the rebuild, analysts describe a correction in plain English and it lands as a dbt pull request in minutes.
